During the Chinese New Year celebration, thousands of devotees turned up for the annual lighting ceremony at Kek Lok Si Temple in Air Itam.公仔箱論壇6 e% Z8 n  c  o. e' N

Starting from Chinese New Year, Kek Lok Si Temple will be light up every night at 7pm until midnight to symbolize peace, luck and prosperity." ^' t5 }0 s, `

Approximately 230,000 light bulbs and 10,000 lanterns light up the temple every night in conjunction with Chinese New Year. Making this emple one of Asia's most beautiful temple. The most oustanding scene is the Pagoda of Ten Thousand Buddhas, it is over 35 metres in height and is reputed to be one of the largest pagodas in Malaysia. The glittering pagoda can be seen from from several kilometres away.

My first time to Penang was 30 years ago, it was a traditional city just like 60's and 70's HK.# }- H; ^: |9 R) v1 A- S
Fried banana is the food I remember the most.
