Van Persie returns for Holland
Holland have named the same squad for Wednesday’s Euro 2008 qualifier with Slovenia.
Marco van Basten’s men lost 1-0 to Romania on Saturday to leave their qualification hopes in the balance as they sit just two points clear of Bulgaria.
Holland know they must win against Slovenia, but Van Basten has kept faith with the same set of players for Wednesday’s clash.
The Dutch do not have Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Ruud van Nistelrooy or Joris Mathijsen due to suspension, but they have three players ready to fill the void.
Robin van Persie and Wesley Sneijder return from suspension for Wednesday’s clash, while Hedwiges Maduro is also available once again.
