Some falls r use to produce hydro power to power electricity ...the power of nature is always amazing and unpredictable and infinite.

Fantastic waterfalls pictures, the frozen Niagara falls and the golden light one are rare.

Orchid - the golden light one is the horsetail of yosemite..very rare occurance.

Horsetail Fall, located in Yosemite National Park in California, is a seasonal waterfall that flows in the winter and early spring. The fall occurs on the East side of El Capitan.[1] There are a few days every February where this fall is lit up by the setting sun and reflects a bright orange.

  I've always find falls very amazing and a symbol of bounty. The smaller falls are pretty and more approachable while the big falls are magnificent and awesome. From horsetail falls to frozen falls, be it the stream falls or creek falls ...either ways they are nature's great wonders.
