The name 悉尼 has been used as the official name for Sydney for at least six to seven years now, when pronounced in Mandare in, it's a much closer translation of Sydney compare to 雪梨 . Just like the name Beijing instead of Peking for 北京 in English. However, in a Chinese restaurants, if you try to order a Beijing Duck, the waiter wouldn't know what you are trying to order though. tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb5 X6 w/ ^! e9 H

The first one is either from the Sydney Botanic Garden or at the Hyde Park, they are both very nice spots to relax and have a leisurely sunbake during the lunch break for many Sydneysiders.5.39.217.76# v- n, Y$ _& M5 N& p( k' @
Then there is the famous Sydney Opera House taken from the western side.
% C" a9 g6 A4 b; m6 w$ gFollowed by two photos of the snow fields at Perisher Valley, not much snow yet, give it another 4 to 5 weeks, then it would be right into the skiing season.
# n, _. } f' T0 y4 H( k" j; |( vThen there are the Bondi Beach, if you venture to the eastern side, well, there you will find a lot of women sunbaking topless; no fuss, as men do it all the time.( t) e# @) z: P2 [
Then we are heading north toward central coast up, about an hour and a half drive from Sydney, we get to the a place call The Entrance, a really nice spot, the ranger feed the Pelicans twice a day, quite an interesting sight. Great fish and chips shops, cafes, and restaurants. Nice fishing spot too.
' x1 p$ c$ w: nHere we are back to Sydney at the St Andrew's Cathedral, an Anglican church next to the Sydney townhall.5.39.217.76+ W, E6 S% M+ j/ z. z$ O0 F/ @
The last one is specially for the shopaholics. The renovated Queen Victoria Building, there used to be an up market Chinese restaurant inside, but it's now turned into another shop. A very nice shopping arcade.公仔箱論壇. K' V/ N6 p- K2 e, I) k9 w1 {
