The name 悉尼 has been used as the official name for Sydney for at least six to seven years now, when pronounced in Mandare in, it's a much closer translation of Sydney compare to 雪梨 . Just like the name Beijing instead of Peking for 北京 in English. However, in a Chinese restaurants, if you try to order a Beijing Duck, the waiter wouldn't know what you are trying to order though. ^+ V, L) {1 w& E8 p0 y

I can't help but to add some caption to these beautiful photos:
# M$ g! C/ N" q5 D) a8 \4 ?. |' u5.39.217.76The first one is either from the Sydney Botanic Garden or at the Hyde Park, they are both very nice spots to relax and have a leisurely sunbake during the lunch break for many Sydneysiders.公仔箱論壇4 X/ b0 A; Q% r$ z" b/ r& Q/ G4 S
Then there is the famous Sydney Opera House taken from the western side.* h! @( Z' V. b! A+ h; b
Followed by two photos of the snow fields at Perisher Valley, not much snow yet, give it another 4 to 5 weeks, then it would be right into the skiing season.
+ D4 X# M; o' L! ?& t% c公仔箱論壇Then there are the Bondi Beach, if you venture to the eastern side, well, there you will find a lot of women sunbaking topless; no fuss, as men do it all the time.1 {! h+ V2 _. c& v, u6 J, S
Then we are heading north toward central coast up, about an hour and a half drive from Sydney, we get to the a place call The Entrance, a really nice spot, the ranger feed the Pelicans twice a day, quite an interesting sight. Great fish and chips shops, cafes, and restaurants. Nice fishing spot too. tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb b" }$ f3 L4 _, D6 _
Here we are back to Sydney at the St Andrew's Cathedral, an Anglican church next to the Sydney townhall.' s/ E. G* x; |, r7 i6 `6 Q1 H
The last one is specially for the shopaholics. The renovated Queen Victoria Building, there used to be an up market Chinese restaurant inside, but it's now turned into another shop. A very nice shopping arcade.5.39.217.760 w% X! |2 a; l N& ^% T- E, O3 ?
