I live in the Aussie Land too, no need for swearing, lets be a bit more civilise and discuss it further.
There are a few animal that were introduced into Australia and they have turned public enemies.
The ones that causes the most environmental damages are:
1. Cane Toad.
2. Wild Rabbits.
3. Wild Camels.
The camels in NT breed profusely and they are pack animals, so during the drought, they have eaten most of the native vegetation and have started going into the private farms. They have become a real pest, they are quite aggressive and persistent. But I haven't heard of them getting into the Airport runway though. The news story did exaggerate a bit. Perhaps, the camel did venture into some private airfields. |
