bchew

1 d1 `2 v6 l9 Z

The Lotus flower starts as a little flower in her bud beneath the waters of a muddy, mucky pond. It struggled patiently upwards onto the surface of the filthy waters to reach sunlight and then it will blossom into the flower lotus. She then begins her destination of a dignifed purpose and the intended reasons to live a resourseful and meaningful life. 9 I" M5 g5 G' X  V. S2 s0 r

In Buddhist paintings and sculpture, the Buddha is often seated on a lotus flower and it symbolises that man can rise above being rooted in the ugliness and suffering of this world, so full of deceit and illusions.

Likewise we ought to be reminded of the lotus living a life with compassion and generosity helping others, and leaving enough for others.( y9 v/ D. l& I* x

Here in the pictures the lotus has been presented with artful taste, very elegant, very lovely, and with amazingly graceful postures. Who's heart would not have a sudden urge, yearning to have a glimspe of the life of this humble lotus in mud pond, to satisfy their insatiable heart.
