The High Court has granted additional time for fung shui master Tony Chan to file his appeal against a ruling which gave the late tycoon Nina Wang's multi-billion dollar estate to a rival claimant, the Chinachem Charitable Foundation.

The fung shui master had until next Tuesday to lodge an appeal. However, given the complexity of the case, Mr Chan asked for more time. The Chinachem Charitable Foundation opposed the application for an extension. But Court of First Instance judge Mr Justice Lam granted the request - giving Mr Chan a new deadline of March 19.
