| The 2 big diagram is not triangle. The small red triangle and the small blue triangle are not similar triangle! The long line included the long side of red triangle and blue triangle is not a straight line. It curves slightly downward on the upper diagram. And it curves slightly upward on the lower diagram. Therefore, when calculating area of the big diagram is not just 1/2 x height x length. |
