Bernese Mountain dog is a large, strong, sturdy, agile dog.
They love children, and are very intelligent, easy to train and are natural watchdogs, but not overly dominant.
These dogs are not recommended for small house.
However, the average life of these dogs has decreased in recent years from 10-12 years to 6-8 years.
