help ! How to compress hdtv to rmvb with字幕inside

I use "Total media 3.5" to record HDTV. Then I use "HDTV to MPEG" to convert the file to mpeg2. Finally I use "REAL文件量產機 1.5.3.1" to convert the file to rmvb. My problem is ...how to display 字幕 together inside the film ? (not mkv)
Any SUPER teacher can teach me ?.........Thx u very much !! ^_^
