Former Everton defender Matteo Ferrari has decided to move on from Roma.
The centre-back is a free agent, having refused to sign a new deal with Giallorossi.
His agent has confirmed that the optimistic Ferrari snubbed a four-year contract offer, which included £1 million wages per season.
Fiorentina are in pole position to sign him but will have to beat other unnamed potential suitors.
In other news, Udinese have announced they have reached an agreement to sign Antonio Langella.
The Atalanta striker, who has played three times for Italy, will join the Bianconeri next summer. |
