Wow that is both amazing and scary at the same time! It is hard to believe that the snake is able to devour an animal that is so much bigger that itself. They must have a very efficient digestive system!
I remember going on a tour of a reptile park, and the expert told us that if we encounter a snake, the best option is to stand still, change direction and slowly walk away from the snake. DO NOT attempt to pick it up or attack it. Snakes do not usually attack or bite unless provoked.
He also said that snakes are more common around backyards or inside houses during warmer weather, so it is probably best that we keep our doors closed and avoid walking in long grass grass during hot temperatures.
Hopefully we do not encounter any snakes in the wild! |
