美國與墨西哥兩國的邊境，西起聖迭戈與蒂華納，東至布朗斯維爾與馬塔摩洛斯。兩國邊界長達3,169公里，東段以格蘭德河為界，中段穿越索諾蘭沙漠及奇瓦瓦沙漠，西段經過聖地牙哥及提華納都會區以至太平洋岸，風景變化多端，有繁華的都會區，也有一望無際的沙漠地帶。5.39.217.76; w4 w, }: T, H: q' }5 X& ~

美墨現今邊界確立於1848年美墨戰爭之後，目前是全世界最繁忙的邊界，每年約有250萬人以合法方式通過兩國邊界，大量湧入美國的非法移民及嚴重的毒品犯罪問題，已成為美墨關係的重要課題。

Mexican people living on the right side of the boundary appear to be living in a country of prosperity with high volume of business and car flow. On the left, the American is living on a rural land with high rise wall as boundary which appears to me only suitable for prison purpose. tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb" j/ L6 X, W" R4 v  }
Unlike many other countries, there appears to have little harmonization amongs people living so close to each other. What a pity!!!

The open landscape of the US boarder make it harder to cross without being noticed.
