let's invite vandas n norman too, they r wine lovers as well
it  feels good sipping a Bordeaux, Tuscon, or Cabernet or Shiraz in the winter
or  perhaps a Pino Noir, Merlot, Burgundy, Rioja, Puilly Fuisse, Alsace or a chianti or sherry  is an all time fav to
Vintage Port is quite a savor too

And Bubbly Wine is a perfect selection for the NY celebration
I like Brut Champagnes or extra brut style...dun care for too much sweet stuff...
