.dat to DVD

I have some movies in dat format, I know i can burn them as vcd. However, I want to burn them into DVDs and can be seen on a DVD player. 公仔箱論壇8 J5 h$ ]" C9 f6 w3 L  P
I tried to just burn a data DVD and it's viewable on some DVD players, others can't read the disc. And also, I can't change the audio channel, as in I can't change it to only left or right, that is it's speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin... I was wondering what other methods to burn it so that I can have them to change audio channels.% ]; m3 Q$ ?/ b. H7 c9 u- L; f
