That's the Star Ferry that I remember, hope it hasn't changed much.  It's really pleasant riding on this ferry, only a short trip, but the view is marvelous.  Beats going through the tunnel any time.

The old pier has been demolished and replaced by a new one some distance away.

The clock, manufactured by the same company as the Big Ben in London,5.39.217.765 A4 G" r+ O5 u$ j! H( d8 w: J
and probably made in the same era, was carefully removed and stored up 公仔箱論壇% S( l% S& A7 Q4 g4 Z
by the HK Government for future reprovisioning to suitable venue later.

Thank you Busyfun.  I was back in HK 18 months ago, but it was a short trip, didn't notice the change of the Star Ferry.  It looks a pity that they have remodeled the wharf, it had so much character with lots of open space, we are all going to miss it.  What about the kowloon side? Has it changed too?

Be come back to Hong Kong as more as you can otherwise it is likely that you will be sad in retrieving its beauties only by memory.
