That's the Star Ferry that I remember, hope it hasn't changed much.  It's really pleasant riding on this ferry, only a short trip, but the view is marvelous.  Beats going through the tunnel any time.

Thank you Busyfun.  I was back in HK 18 months ago, but it was a short trip, didn't notice the change of the Star Ferry.  It looks a pity that they have remodeled the wharf, it had so much character with lots of open space, we are all going to miss it.  What about the kowloon side? Has it changed too?

At present there is no big changes at the Kowloon side of the Star Ferry. But nobody can tell it will not be changed in the future.
8 N  q$ y$ r' j0 t' g公仔箱論壇I heard that there is a plan to reallocate soon the bus terminal adjacent to the Ferry.2 C( S3 B/ @: w, F3 ~

Land is scarce everywhere in developed city; Hong Kong is of  no exception. 5.39.217.76; j3 t6 Y" y6 @; T- K$ Z: x
Be come back to Hong Kong as more as you can otherwise it is likely that you will be sad in retrieving its beauties only by memory.

Is it good or bad? I don't know. But I am sure, with the tide of history, fading out of famous Hong Kong beauty spots like Star Ferry in Central are not rare to happen in Hong Kong in years to come.
