setting > General > Network > Cellular Data Network > re input APN ( refer to your operator ) than switch on/off......

u have to upgrade os4 as new iphone otherwise u cant connect to internet but before u going to do that remember backup your contact list to your pc or mac ok any question feel free to ask me

so meaning that your iphone 3Gs had jail broken before u upgraded to iso 4.0

the phone never jailbreak upgraded to  iso4.0 never has problem.

1st u have to do is . update ur itunes to version 9.2 .
afterthat connect ur iphone to ur pc or laptop .
then go to check update for iphone in itunes . just that easy .
