The name 悉尼 has been used as the official name for Sydney for at least six to seven years now, when pronounced in Mandare in, it's a much closer translation of Sydney compare to 雪梨 . Just like the name Beijing instead of Peking for 北京 in English. However, in a Chinese restaurants, if you try to order a Beijing Duck, the waiter wouldn't know what you are trying to order though. 5.39.217.764 T" B, ~1 l& v e

The first one is either from the Sydney Botanic Garden or at the Hyde Park, they are both very nice spots to relax and have a leisurely sunbake during the lunch break for many Sydneysiders.

Followed by two photos of the snow fields at Perisher Valley, not much snow yet, give it another 4 to 5 weeks, then it would be right into the skiing season.

) M( j/ l; d4 n3 {6 |0 L6 E5.39.217.76Then we are heading north toward central coast up, about an hour and a half drive from Sydney, we get to the a place call The Entrance, a really nice spot, the ranger feed the Pelicans twice a day, quite an interesting sight. Great fish and chips shops, cafes, and restaurants. Nice fishing spot too. 5.39.217.761 J+ b2 D, F/ g$ |" U p2 H
Here we are back to Sydney at the St Andrew's Cathedral, an Anglican church next to the Sydney townhall.4 i) K0 \. u8 Z3 w2 Q: w( |7 H
The last one is specially for the shopaholics. The renovated Queen Victoria Building, there used to be an up market Chinese restaurant inside, but it's now turned into another shop. A very nice shopping arcade.tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb% r/ [ X5 t/ H7 X# o A
