In school science taught tt lightning is simply electricity flowing bet -ive n +ive charges with air currents circulating underneath / clouds. / irrational fear of lightning n thunder is astraphobia, n / study of science n lightning is called fuminology (verb) n someone who study lightning is referred 2 as fuminologist. (noun) In / pics posted here, lightning seems quite astounding n rather amazing. But in realty lightning is quite dangerous n wld cause chaos if not properly dealed with. If we r standing n hiding out in / wrong places during a thunder storm we exposed ourselves 2 great danger 2 a lightning strike W cld cause our lives. Even using electrical appliances at home during a heavy thunder storm may cause casualties as well. We stand / chances of having a short circuit n being electrocuted, causing chaos n endangering ourselves. Even in / building apartment or houses tt we lived r built w lighning escapes so electricity fr / lightning cld escape n not strike our homes. I have actually seen a hugh lightning once...it's like electricity w sparks of flames bursting like a fire cracker n / roaring thunder is so deafening n loud, like I have missed one or two heartbeats. It's scarry n so fearful without warning.' T. V' K; B; |/ q6 v2 C- o
