[新聞] Pagani's Three-Color Wonder: The One-Off Zonda Tricolore

Pagani's Zonda has had more thana few iterations; it's like the Mustang of the über-supercar set. Thelatest is called the Tricolore, and it's most likely the last specialedition Zonda ever as its replacement, the all new C9 is on its way.
Builtfor a Spanish importer and debuting in Geneva next week, the ZondaTricolore is based on the uniquely-bodied Cinque, carbon fiber body andall (we're assuming the power train is a carryover).

However, unlike the mass-produced 10-unit Cinque - of which five coupes and fiveroadsters were built - the Tricolore is limited to one example said tobe priced at €1.3 million or about US$1.75 million at today's exchangerates.

Items that make the Tricolorestand out (other than the fact that's it's a freakin' Pagani Zonda) arethe Italian flag-inspired stripe job, triangular R-derived brakecooling inlets out back, and the too-cool-for-school shark fin behindthe cockpit.
Thatfin, no doubt, is to draw a more obvious connection to the inspirationof the Tricolore: Italy's Frecce Tricolori, the Italian air force'saerobatic division (think the US Navy's Blue Angels).

Personalrecommendation? If you like it, find a way to cash in on that insurancepolicy and hop on the next flight to Switzerland.
