SharkWerks has partnered with Evolution Motorsports to deliver a U.S.-tuned version of the Porsche 997 GT3.
The engine conversion kit adds 0.3 liters to the engine'sdisplacement and provides and additional 87 horsepower to theproduction 997 GT3. The 3.9 liter now delivers 502 hp and 355 lb-ft oftorque (480 Nm) over the production 3.6 liter's 415 hp with the newpiston and cylinder kit developed by the Freemont, CA and Tempe,Arizona-based tuners (SharkWerks and Evolution Motorsports,respectively).
Interesting to note is the EVOMSit software kit provided byEvolution Motorsports which can calibrate the engine for either 91 or93 octane fuel. |
