Lewin: Rosicky and Eduardo will be back for pre-season
Club physio Gary Lewin has said that injured forwards Tomas Rosicky and Eduardo da Silva will recover in time for pre-season training with the Gunners.
Rosicky has missed the majority of last season due to a recurring injury and as a result has struggled to make an impact since his move from German club Dortmund.
Eduardo suffered a broken leg during a match against Birmingham City and it was initially feared that he would not be able to play again this season, let alone start pre-season training.
Lewin said: "Tomas has had surgery on his knee and we expect him to be flying by pre-season.
"We have had some real nasty injuries and I think that is part and parcel of the game.
"Look back at the years, we have been successful and we have had luck with injuries and not picked up many nasty injuries.
"Hopefully that will be the case next season.
"Hopefully, Eduardo will also be back doing training during pre-season. We are setting no time scales for Eduardo because we don't want to put him under pressure, but we are confident he will make a full recovery." |
