Laudrup not a done deal

It has been revealed that Michael Laudrup has not signed with Greece giants Panathinaikos and the highly rated manager still appears to be on the market.
The Dane declared last month that he had stepped down from Getafe following a superb season with the South Madrid side, and it was announced that he had signed a big-money contract with 'Pana'.
But Laudrup’s future is still to be decided, as he has not found an agreement with the Greek team and his agent continues to seek opportunities.
It is believed that the former attacker’s demands were far too high for Panathinaikos, who are now speaking with Henk ten Cate’s agent, according to the Dutch press.
Reports claim that Laudrup wanted his contract to include a clause allowing him to move to Spanish clubs in the future if he received propositions.
Chelsea and Blackburn, currently in search of a tactician, may be interested in Getafe’s hero.
