Cardiff City chairman Peter Ridsdale admits he may be forced to cash in on Manchester United target Aaron Ramsey.
"I don't know what is going to happen, I can't guess what is going to happen," Ridsdale told the Western Mail. "I don't know if Manchester United or anyone else are going to come in for our players.
"But if a bid does come in and it meets our valuation, or the player concerned says they want to go, we will deal with that at the time. I have always said we are a Championship club which means every one of our players is for sale.
"The only question is the price. The ideal scenario is for us to keep our players, but that is not something which is likely. There is a gap between what we bring in through the turnstiles in commercial revenue and what we have to pay in wages to have a side which is capable of challenging at the top end of the Championship." |
