索科特拉島 (阿拉伯語：سقطرى；Socotra；Suquṭra；Soqotra) 是西印度洋西北部的一群島，位於阿拉伯海與亞丁灣的交界處是由4座小島組合而成，屬於也門哈達拉毛省領土。Socotra (Arabic: سُقُطْرَى；Suquṭra；Soqotra) is a small archipelago of four islands in the Indian Ocean. It lies in the north-western corner of the Western Indian Ocean, at the junction between the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea, belong to part of the Republic of Yemen.

Socotra has been tectonically isolated from Africa and Arabia for the past 18 million years, with its fierce heat and drought have combined to create a unique and spectacular endemic flora. Huge number of flora and fauna on Socotra are endemic, i.e., they are found nowhere else on Earth: 37% of Socotra’s 825 plant species, 90% of its reptile species and 95% of its land snail species. The island was recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as a world natural heritage site in July 2008.

Its red sap was thought to be the dragon’s blood of the ancients, sought after as a medicine and a dye, also inscribe as magical seals and talismans.
