Baeutiful photographs and as usual, your write-up gives us an idea of the the way Chinese manage their affairs. Btw, I want to taste that chinese liquor though, being a veg, I am not a fan of Chinese food. We have some very good ones in Toronto where the Chinese presence is very strong. So it was family picnic:)

I am not sure if the Chinese joints in Toronto stock Chinese liquor or anyone will have it if they do but in small Chinese towns like the one I am living in, it's hard to get Scotch as there are few buyers. We have to go to the near by town for getting it. Good you could stay vegetarian even after living abroad for a long time. There is no dearth of vegetables here and we ( me and my wife) are "mauka"-tarians. Mauka in Hindi means chance/opportunity.
