was retired on 12 November 2006, after some five decade of service. tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb! G0 t4 O# S" ^- ?& n1 }
The old pier has been demolished and replaced by a new one some distance away.  " b, f. |$ d" j0 f9 B* V2 v3 `
From the last picture above, you may find a old pal looking at its construction 公仔箱論壇/ z: N3 c. q% ~! v6 A) e3 y! K
on the other side of the shore. . O, [; Z8 ~( U! y% k1 U: Z
$ z2 p/ ?0 o8 htvb now,tvbnow,bttvbThe clock, manufactured by the same company as the Big Ben in London,
& ^# b5 x2 z# ]+ |4 ?and probably made in the same era, was carefully removed and stored up
$ Q0 B! u b& T2 _by the HK Government for future reprovisioning to suitable venue later.
